This week's them is: do you know your own mind? More on that, below. But first, some law stuff and fun road to riches.
Law Stuff
I've been dealing a lot this week with California Business & Professions Code 650, which deals with conflicts of interest issues in health care. If you know any doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, psychologists, and others who are selling dietary supplements through their practice, they need to know about B&P 650. Have them call me.

If you want to know how the Partner ATM machine works for companies and nonprofit charities seeking revenue, check out Serving Our World Child Rescue. This is great for the nonprofit, and good for the Business Associate that signed up the nonprofit.
So Do You Know Your Own Mind?
Because if you do, then you will succed in anything you do. You will magnetize clients, treat them right, and find yourself treated right by then in turn. And if "Know Thyself" is something you left behind in freshman philosophy, then your business will flail like an aimless amoeba.
Today I saw the amoeba energy in action at a networking event. You know what I'm talking about: the desperation, the fury, the imbalance, people rushing headlong into pitching their garbage without any sensitivity. When I stepped back from the meeting (literally and energetically), I saw nothing but fear. Not to be negative, but the detachment in that moment was so important to recovering my own power. Because from that power, I can create.
Now imagine you are a being from an advanced civilization. Are you going to take a clunky spaceship and your green suit and antenna to travel the distant galaxies? No, of course not! You'll use nanotechnology, because you've refined your technological prowess sufficiently that the nano-scale is more easily manipulated for interstellar trips. And if you want to power your ship, what will you feed on? Exactly--fear. And where will you find it? How about at meetings where people are rushing headlong at each other with amoeba-like tentacles, grasping at anything that moves, hoping to feast while showcasing their own desparation?
Okay, maybe it's Star Trek Week, post-Wolverine and pre-Terminator Salvation week, and I'm just stretching metaphors like rubber. Then again, today's Yahoo News headline featured these parasitic flies that turn ants into zombies. That's right, they invade the ants' heads, the ants run around in circles, and in a few days, their heads fall off. Sound familiar? I think I've met a few at today's meeting. I was just thinking about that metaphor when the Yahoo article showed up. Hence my Tweet: ""I see dead people ... all the time" ... some of them hand out their cards at meetings and tell you all about themselves without breathing."
Now there are plenty of positive, vibrant people and I love to meet these friends at meetings. It's the energy vampires that have to be cut off at the straw, to so speak.
"Love is letting go of fear." When a meeting turns into Dawn of the Living Dead, that's the time to touch my head and heart and say, like T. Harv Ecker, "I have a millionaire mind," or "Om," or "Jesus the Christ," or "Buddha the Awakened One," or simply, "Beloved." Or to quote the Beatles somewhat, I am He and You are We and We are all Together. Coo-coo-ca-choo.
Remembering the love always brings me back to my heart. I can return to a quiet peace within myself. Immediately I meet the right people in the room who are tuned in to the same frequency, the same inner radio station.
I am a lawyer who listens to his heart. The heart can be tender, but it can also be fiercely courageous, victorious and true. Be the professional that listens to the heart, to the true flame that abides within you, and when the howling winds of parasitic fear feed on the multitudes around, let the voice of your deepest self echo on the plains of creation. That was my lesson today, to step back and dwell once again in my own source of strength.
I hope this newsletter is useful and that you are gaining insights and skills for your own success.
Have a great week,
Michael
